I will give a short summary of each of the products here, including an acne trigger.
Acne Spot Treatment Products I review acne products by reviewing the acne trigger in my Acne Spot Treatment. I always start with the acne spot treatment. In my experience, the trigger is the product that is most effective. Many of the products in this category work well on acne in general, but some trigger specific conditions. Some products that work well for other types of acne (pimples, etc.) work better than some acne spot treatments (pimples). The most effective acne products I have found are the Clarins Blemish Balm and the Cetaphil Acne Spot Cleanser. I am also reviewing products from other manufacturers (i.e. Dr. Brandt, Dr. Bronner's, etc.). I have never liked any of the old formulas because they are so expensive. You can get acne spot treatments from Wal-Mart for a couple bucks a pop. The price of my products at Wal-Mart is not cheap, so you need to check them out if you are on a budget. Also, because of my background in dermatology, I am able to use a lot of products, but my dermatologists are not on my list of prescribers. Also, a lot of people think that I have a medical background or am a doctor. That is not the case.
